From sales success to shelter lessons
Benny’s understanding of trust began early, caring for a spirited Pomeranian named Peanut. That responsibility taught him that leadership, patience, and connection matter more than authority.
In his sales career, Benny discovered a universal truth: people respond to those they trust, not just experts.
Volunteering at animal shelters and working alongside other professional dog trainers, he realized the same applied to dogs. Presence, consistency, and genuine understanding built the strongest connections.
The turning point: Sven’s story
Benny’s family brought home an Australian Shepherd, Sven, after a time of loss. Traditional group classes and treat-based programs failed. Only when they tried an e-collar approach done correctly did they see real results: Sven responded reliably, calmly, and without treats.
This experience sparked Benny’s obsession with understanding why it worked. He studied e-collar methodology, safety, and dog psychology.
He realized that communication, not punishment, builds trust, and that most dog training programs fail because they don’t teach families how to connect with their dogs.
