Sue and Louie, two lively labrador retrievers in Kansas City, faced a challenge with their fear and reactivity. In today’s session, we focused on helping Sue and Louie become more comfortable with the electric fence that surrounded their yard. By using positive reinforcement and engaging activities, we encouraged them to venture beyond the confines of the porch. It was heartening to witness them chase each other around the yard, playing happily with their toys instead of displaying hesitation.

A significant moment emerged during our work. As Sue and Louie realized they could enjoy the freedom of running around, their confidence visibly increased. The sounds of laughter from their family filled the air as they played, replacing the old habits of retreating with joyous barks and wagging tails.
